What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling uses tiny needles to make controlled punctures in the skin. While your skin heals from these small wounds, production of collagen and elastin is stimulated. In turn, this helps improve the look of concerns like wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, large pores, and stretch marks. Ultimately, the procedure helps prompt the body's natural healing response into action, leading to smoother and firmer skin for both the face and body.

Want to Add Volume or Relax Lines? Pair Microneedling With Injectables
Microneedling is a great non-surgical procedure to revitalize your skin and reduce scars. However, it can only do so much. To tackle wrinkles, fine lines, and aging skin further, we recommend you pair your microneedling treatment with injectables like BOTOX® and dermal fillers, both offered at our practice.
Microneedling FAQ
Is microneedling just for the face?
No, it isn't. Microneedling can also be used on other areas of the body, such as your neck and your limbs. Just like with the face, it can refine common insecurities such as scarring, hyperpigmentation, or stretch marks.
How do I know if I'm a microneedling candidate?
Good microneedling candidates must have achievable goals and otherwise healthy skin. If you have a history of keloids (a type of raised scar) or a blood clotting disorder, microneedling may not be right for you. Of course, we'll go over factors like these during your consultation. Your safety will always come first — and we will always do our due diligence on your behalf.
Are there side effects with microneedling?
Common, mild side effects of microneedling include temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, and dryness. Any concerns should subside within a few days. Minor bruising can also occur. Infection is rare, and this risk is minimized with proper aftercare and professional treatment. Contact us if you notice any signs of infection, peeling, or other severe side effects.
